2020 has been a rough year for parenting. And right when we feel like we’ve reached the bottom of the barrel, the school year is starting. Whether you are distance learning, homeschooling, or sending kids in person, this school year is going to be trying. We thought there would be no better time than this back to school season to bring you this conversation on positive parenting, featuring Kelly Bandas, originally from our Summer Series.
More About Our Guest
Kelly is a writer and pediatric speech language pathologist. Her blog, Ooh Bother, is a popular Positive Parenting website, where she seeks to educate other parents about the benefits of Positive Parenting and share the details of her own family’s journey through parenthood and international adoption. Kelly and her family live in Nashville, TN where they recover from her husband’s career as a professional country musician by raising three chickens and feeding their sons a strict musical diet of Rock ‘n’ Roll. When she is not writing about Positive Parenting, you can find Kelly working on the manuscript for her first book or perhaps sprawled on the couch watching Real Housewives.
You can find Kelly on Instagram (Seriously, she’s hilarious. Go follow her now.). You can also join her Positive Parenting For Cool Moms Facebook group to get practical advice, ask questions and share your tribulations and triumphs with Positive Parenting.
