We talk about everything from starting our podcast on the brink of a pandemic, how it has affected our business, how our mental health has faired throughout the never-ending emotional rollercoaster, the political landscape of the year, as well as how our relationships changed.

Shopping in 2020 is a whole new experience. I’m leaving the house way more than I was in the Spring, but shopping is still a big day out on the town. It’s basically the only time I get dressed anymore and put on a real pair of pants. I’m still only doing half a face of makeup though since I’m wearing my mask. So, if you’re looking for a big day out in the East Bay, we recommend Persimmon Place in Dublin.
Persimmon Place features retailers such as Whole Foods, Sur La Table, Ethan Allen, and Nordstrom Rack. You can get your shopping done then relax in the spacious outdoor patios and integrated seating areas.
We love that they’ve considered sustainability as part of their model including solar panels and windmills help reduce the center’s overall energy consumption.

As a registered nurse who’s been working in two emergency rooms (one of which is one of the hardest hit in California) thank you! Taking care of COVID positive patients and seeing the surges, as well as how many people are “anti-mask,” I’m so appreciative of you two using your platform to share your views. It’s scary times. I’m terrified of bringing this virus home to my family. It’s enough to make anyone feel like they’re losing their minds. Again, thank you. I love being able to escape in your pod cast for a while.

Tracie, thank you so much for your kind words but you deserve all the thanks. Thank you for your sacrifice and all you do!
