If you are in need of a Marvel printable to organize your overwhelm about it all, you have come to the right place. I have always found the Marvel Universe very overwhelming. I’ve avoided watching Marvel movies because, honestly, it just felt like so much work to learn the ins and outs of this made up universe. But, as every mom will tell you, kids don’t care about your preconceived notions.
Harrison and Sullivan started to show an interest in superheroes (thanks in large part to Tyler’s consistent nudging) and I knew that in order to keep up with their conversations, I needed to dive in, too.
For me, it started with Wandavision. And I found myself so frustrated not knowing every inside joke and detail. So, after that, I declared we were watching all of the movies because I was tired of feeling left out.
Is there a “right” way to watch?
Ultimately, we decided to go in chronological order because that makes the most sense to my brain. I see why some diehard fans prefer release order of the movies, because the bonus scenes make more sense when you watch them that way. I don’t think there is any right way to do it, but we enjoyed watching them chronologically.
However you decide to watch, I recommend you watch with a Marvel fan so that they can help you connect dots that you might not catch. Very thankful to Tyler for his detailed synopsis and pointing out things I missed after every movie!
Marvel Printable Watch list
This Marvel chronological watch list printable is a great visual guide. My kids loved checking off each movie as we viewed them and looking ahead to what’s to come. The vertical timeline outlines the Marvel timeline and each movie has the year in which it came out, which provides a lot of context.
With summer around the corner, this would be a great family summer bucket list activity for family movie night!
