Every time I sit down to write these, I try to remember what the hell I did during the week and I end up staring at the screen blankly because… mom brain is real, you guys. Same thing happens when someone asks what I’ve been up to. Ummm, nothing? Everything? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!
MOM WIN OF THE WEEK
Harrison learned to ride without training wheels. It feels like such a big milestone and I can’t quite comprehend why. He told me he was ready and then he did it. The proud look on his face was priceless.
MOM FAIL OF THE WEEK
Related to the ‘win’ above, I didn’t take any photo or video of said big milestone. I was too busy crying sappy mom tears. Oh well.
Law & Order: The Menendez Brothers. The first episode didn’t disappoint and I’m soooo excited to see future episodes. Admittedly, I didn’t know much about this case because I thought it was something predictable: psychopaths kill parents, go to prison. But it is SO much more than that. Are you watching?
We leave for vacation to the east coast on Sunday and I have done exactly zero planning. Have I stressed about how much I have to do? Yep. Have I done anything about that? Nope. I guess it’s time to get my butt in gear.
ENJOYING MOM FRIEND TIME
I got to hang with some of my favorite mamas while we watched Hocus Pocus (some were virgins!) and ate copious amounts of queso. Then later in the week, Heather and I went out for drinks with other mama friends to celebrate a birthday. It’s been a mom tribe heavy week and I ain’t mad about it.
Have a great weekend, friends!
