Mom Win of the Week: I really feel like I just broke even this week. No real wins, but no real fails. Honestly, that’s good enough for me!
Mom Fail of the Week: We are sick. Again. Which I know isn’t my fault and it’s winter and all that, but we could have used longer than 10 days off antibiotics. Also, determining if they’re okay enough for school or should stay home is really hard and I think I always make the wrong choice. Whoops.
Reading: I just finished Becoming by Michelle Obama. So, so good and it made me miss the Obamas so much.
Watching: I found a new show on NBC called I Feel Bad. It’s about a working mom with 3 kids and each episode is about a new thing she feels bad about. Not cooking enough, not making to all the kid’s events- basically all the things moms always feel guilty about. It is so funny and relatable. She’s an okayest mom for sure!
Planning: We’re headed to a fun, local networking event on Sunday. I’m excited to meet other local bloggers and women at the Women in Power Brunch put on by the Women of Sacramento! We even get to wear fancy clothes!
Wearing: I just ordered these shoes and I can’t wait for them to get here. Love a good leopard print!
Meal Plan: It’s another SkinnyTaste love fest this week. I love her recipes because she calculates all the Weight Watcher points, which makes it super easy for me. But, I also love that all of her recipes are very filling and I don’t feel deprived at all!
