Mom win of the week:
Looking forward to: So many things! April is jam packed for us. I’ll be heading to Austin, TX for Mom 2.0 in just a few weeks and then right after that, we’re going to San Diego for a family vacation.
Planning: these trips! We are flying to San Diego, which will be the first time for our kids. Flying definitely sounds better than an 11 hour car ride, but now we have to figure out car seats and all of that and I’m kind of dreading it. Keeping my eyes on the sunshine-y beach prize!
Meal Plan: I have recently switched from Weight Watchers to tracking my macros. Basically, that means eating roughly 45% carbs, 25% fat and 30% protein throughout the day. The learning curve is steep, but once you figure it out, it’s not that hard. It’s an insane amount of food to eat each day, but I’m feeling good!. I’ve been keeping my meals super simple until I really get the hang of it, but I did make Skinnytaste’s Lightened Up Shepherd’s Pie (which is a perfectly balanced macro meal!). It’s labor intensive but soooo delicious!
