Mom win of the week: Harrison allowed me the honor of pulling out one of his loose teeth. If you’ve followed along on Instagram, we’ve had issues in the past with this. He gets anxious about how loose a tooth is and won’t eat because he’s so afraid he’s going to swallow it. He also, in the past, wouldn’t let Tyler or I get anywhere near it to help it along. I’ll spare you a photo, but he let’s his loose teeth hang on by literal threads and it’s a whole thing. Well, my patience with the last incident paid off because he walked up to me and said, “Mom, I’m brave and I want you to pull out this loose tooth.” 😭Such a weird mom thing I know, but it was big for him. How do your kids handle their loose teeth?
Mom fail of the week: I’ve been insanely busy and feeling a little bit drained. Which always translates to a short fuse and lots of screen time for the kids. My goal is to get organized this weekend and hopefully that helps the overwhelm.
Currently…
Listening to: Lots of Housewives content since we are going to a live taping of Bitch Sesh next week! Currently I’m loving Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino. He’s hilarious and I love his takes on all things Bravo.
Watching: Shrill on Hulu. This show is next level awesome. Aidy Bryant is a star and I love her so much. Watch it!
Wearing: Really obsessed these and these mules from Target. Super cute and comfy.
Looking forward to: Tonight is our adult fundraiser for Harrison’s school and I’m looking forward to a fun night out with awesome people!
Planning: A spring break trip to Monterey! Tyler has to work most of the week so it will be quick but it will be so nice to get away for a couple days.
