Planning on Paper
We all struggle to keep the details, obligations, and commitments in our lives in place. But brain research shows that the simple act of writing things down can help anyone better manage and prioritize. Angela finds planning on paper so useful, she has even published her own planner. Let her show you how to institute a practice of planning & organization in your life and what a difference it can make!
Author Angela K. Nickerson has lots of plans and executes most of them on her two websites: PiningForRome.com and MidModernMama.com. She loves planning so much that she has even written her own Christmas planner: The Nice List. The 2019 edition is available to order now. For a list of Angela’s favorite planners as well as the stickers, pens, and washi that make planning fun, check out her planner guide: midmodernmama.com/planners.

I am a Chef turned stay at home mom to 6 girls ranging from age 4-12 years old. I’ve continued to use my chef skills in the home every single day, whether it’s cooking for my family, selling bread to neighbors, teaching kid cooking classes, or running a YouTube channel where I teach kids how to cook. I was born and raised in Utah and I love it here. My husband and I have been married for 13 years. We’ve had some “plot twists” in our marriage which include 2 sets of twins and my husband getting really sick last year for 10 months. We’ve managed through it all and have some tricks to help life run a little more smoothly for our crazy house.

Making time to travel as a family is hard and often restricted by finances. Jen is a licensed, successful travel agent with a specialty in family travel. She will share her tips planning & organizing travel a priority in your family, money-saving tricks, as well as her own experience traveling the world with her husband and three daughters.
Hey, I’m Jen Maselli and I like to say I help people travel the world. I was a stay at home mom for 13 years before I decided to turn my love of travel into a business. I became an independent travel agent through a licensed host agency and now I spend any time that I’m not using to drive kids around and help in classrooms and cheer at marching band competitions to plan and book travel for my roster of clients. I grew up being driven mountain to sea in a rickety motorhome piloted by my grandpa and those experiences created a deep love of road trips and family adventures that I’ve tried to cultivate in my own family. My husband and I are raising three daughters and we’ve traveled with our kids as much as time and money have allowed – even if that meant a simple trip to the beach or the mountains or a night or two in San Francisco. I try to incorporate that feeling of wonder into each itinerary I develop for my clients. I believe that travel can be transformative and my goal is to create exceptional travel experiences through collaborative planning for each person or family that I work with.
