This post was sponsored by Whitney Ranch, but all opinions are my own.
This past weekend, Whitney Ranch welcomed a new developer, Toll Brothers. Toll Brothers has just debuted the new Oakcrest neighborhood, and let me tell you, these houses are gorgeous.
Oakcrest is located in the Whitney Ranch area of Rocklin, CA. I actually went to high school in Rocklin (looong before Whitney Ranch existed! LOL!), and I can vouch for it being a pretty idyllic place to grow up. Oakcrest is unique because while it is in Whitney Ranch, it is also adjacent to the Whitney Oaks area, which is a more exclusive, upscale neighborhood. Oakcrest fits right in between the two areas because the homes have a luxurious, upscale feel but plenty of family friendly finishes and details. The development really marries the two neighborhoods flawlessly.
As Whitney Ranch residents, you also get access to all of the Whitney Ranch amenities- think award winning schools, plenty of parks, trails, and a family friendly environment that includes exclusive Home Owners’ Association events for residents.
They are currently showing two models at Oakcrest, although there are five to choose from. Both are amazing to tour and, honestly, the pictures don’t do them justice. It didn’t hurt that the day I was there was the first sunny day in months. Both homes were so light, bright and inviting.
The first model, the Newcastle, is 4,422 square feet and has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths.
What I loved about this one is that there was a separate in law quarters, complete with one car garage access, kitchenette and private bathroom. This home would be the perfect option for a multigenerational household.
The in law suite was a nice touch, but my absolute favorite part of the Newcastle was the entry. Two words- double staircases. Can you imagine the prom pictures you could get on these things?! The entry really set the tone for the luxurious feel of the rest of the home.
I also loved how this home blended the indoors and outdoors. The beauty of living in California is the amount of time we can spend outside and this house really captured that.
The second model, the Newcastle was just as impressive. It was featured in the farmhouse elevation and that theme was carried throughout the home.
The Lincoln was every bit as luxurious and spacious as the Newcastle, but in a single story floorplan. Both floorpans were extremely well thought out and offered enough space for everyone to be together as a family, but also enough individual space.
I loved this shiny black subway tile in the kitchen. At first glance, I hated it, but it really grew on me and I felt like it was a unique spin on the usual farmhouse white subway tile. The finishes offered by Toll Brothers were definitely a cut above the usual builder grade options.
Laundry would be much more enjoyable in this laundry room!
After all that laundry, this tub would be the perfect place to relax!
If you’re in the market for a new home in a family friendly community, be sure to explore Whitney Ranch in Rocklin. Truth be told, these homes are out of reach for my family, but I enjoyed touring. It’s always fun to think “what if” and get design inspiration.
Whitney Ranch offers many different builders that even if this isn’t the builder for you, they probably have something that will meet your needs and price point.
Which model did you like better- the Newcastle of the Lincoln? Have you ever visited Whitney Ranch?
What beautiful homes! I love the soaking tub and the gorgeous stairs!
Wouldn’t that tub be amazing to soak in after a long day?!
Oh my gosh the attention to detail in these homes is absolutely amazing! That entry way is gorgeous and that laundry room is major goals.
Laundry wouldn’t be half bad in that space, right?!
This looks like such an amazing space!!
It was like a dream!
